The HP Compaq iPAQ wraps the power of a Microsoft Windows operating system in a new interface designed for ease of use in a portable format.
The iPAQ 3600 series Pocket PC is the original iPAQ Pocket PC line. It’s not your typical handheld organizer. With an innovative design, a fast processor, and Flash ROM (which makes the unit upgradeable), this Pocket PC was destined to become a favorite among PDA users. Another unique feature, this Pocket PC had expansion jackets that made it possible to use external devices without having a bulky base unit.
IPAQ 3630 combines a 206 MHz Intel StrongARM processor, new hardware, and a sleek industrial design that fits in your hand to create a powerful and stylish PDA you can take anywhere. Its expansion-pack system allows you add functionality to suit your particular needs. Expansion-pack options currently include a CompactFlash pack, the ability to attach a CompactFlash card slot to your iPAQ, an executive leather and PC Card expansion pack, and a water-resistant sports pack. In the future, Compaq plans to release a global positioning system pack, so you can turn your iPAQ pocket PC into a GPS unit.
